Pokemon Shuffle Overview

I'm so addicted, I have yet to close out of the game.
Just a simple matching game with Pokemon. There are quite a few modes in this version but the concept is the same.

It starts off with a tutorial showing the point of the game is to defeat the Pokemon with your team and then have a chance to catch it. The more Pokemon caught, the more choices you have to pick from. There are Pokemon strength and weaknesses too. The Mega Evolution is extremely helpful in later levels. In the main game, to purpose is to defeat the Pokemon within a certain amount of moves. There is as few as 3 moves and as many as 20 moves. In expert game, the purpose is to defeat the Pokemon within a certain amount of time such as 30 seconds or a minute. The Special game is where the events happen. As of now there is the Mew event and daily Pokemon event.

Happy New Year! + Unfortunate Event

Happy Chinese/Lunar New Year!

After being home for the last week, I felt so deprived of space! Also my brain felt bored since I was limited on what I could do. I mostly played games during the week on my 3DS, PS Vita and my brother's laptop. The only other thing I could have done was to venture out in the freezing cold...which I did not want to do.
Leftovers. Those shrimp are huge, we had smaller ones the night before.
The celebration was done the night before rather than the day of. My dad had work on New Years so we did a big dinner the night before. Surprisingly the dinner wasn't as extravagant as previous years, there was no fish but there was lots of shrimp. It might be due to my brother not being around so there was no need for so much food. He hates seafood anyways so I don't think it would have changed anything. Sadly, I should have photographed more of the food but by the time I realized, it was too late and everything was leftovers.

Touch My Katamari

Katamari games are very simple. I haven’t played Katamari since the PS2 version so it was nice to see what changes there are. I don’t remember if there were two different controls back in the PS2 versions but I like the new controls in the Vita version. The classic controls uses both analog sticks at the same time to move while the new controls uses left analog to move and right analog to change directions. The ability to shrink or stretch out the katamari gives it a new twist on how to roll things up.

Current update - Home for Lunar New Year

I have been slacking a bit on my writing for the past week. I'll try to pump out a few more posts as soon as I can but I am currently at home (with my parents). Since the Lunar New Year is coming up this week, February 19, my mom was dead set on me being home. Well either way I would have came back just for the food. So good! This upcoming year is the year of the Sheep/Ram. I hope it's another good year regardless if my luck is up or down.

Professor Layton - The Last Specter

This isn't the first Professor Layton game I have play but it is the first I finished. I actually started with the Diabolical Box and there was a bunch of back story I did not understand about the characters. So I only went through half of it before I stopped.

Amiibo Storage - Part 1

I was originally going to make the storage out of wood but I realized I had tons of cardboard from moving. Instead of throwing it all out, I decided to use it. I also have tons of fabric I collected and never used over the years. For this project, I only had a choice between red or white cotton fabric since nothing else was big enough.

Moving done!

The past 2 weeks were hectic with finding a new apartment (fast) and move in by February. We were lucky and found a place we liked within four apartments complexes we looked at. The first one we liked but no availability. The second one was the one we chose which we had a tough choice between $80 in rent but of course we chose the cheaper one. Expensive one was nicer! Anyways, the third one was okay but for the price it was expensive. The fourth was actually considered but that weird size for a living room wasn't my favorite (it was small).
