Touch My Katamari

Katamari games are very simple. I haven’t played Katamari since the PS2 version so it was nice to see what changes there are. I don’t remember if there were two different controls back in the PS2 versions but I like the new controls in the Vita version. The classic controls uses both analog sticks at the same time to move while the new controls uses left analog to move and right analog to change directions. The ability to shrink or stretch out the katamari gives it a new twist on how to roll things up.

The humor. Also 100 points!
The game felt short. There are 17 levels in total including the tutorial and side levels. There are three different modes to play in. Regular mode has a time restriction or an amount rolled restriction depending on the level. Katamari Drive mode is a sped up version of regular mode and less time. Eternal mode is to roll on forever until quitting. Best way to collect all curios, cousins, and presents is to play on eternal.
Can't believe there is more than 100 points.
Dressing up cousins and the king.
It took me about two weeks to complete this game with on/off playing. By complete, I mean I got all the PSN trophies for it. It was impossible to make enough candies to buy everything by playing through over and over again so I did the time glitch instead. Even then, it took a whole year cycle to get enough candies. Also it took a day to do because it was too boring.

Luckily, there weren't many trophies to get. Most of them were simple such as collect all curios, cousins and presents from each level. Sadly, there was no platinum trophy.

This game is great for casual play.
