Good news! We found one of the waterfalls. We barely saw the
second waterfall since it was hidden behind trees. The waterfalls did not have
much water and I assume it's due to the lack of rain. There has been some rain but
not a whole lot.
The Hike
The hike was not bad since the weather was cooler. This time
we went to the entrance on NY 159 and we had a map for it. We found the first
falls quickly after walking past the bridge and to the right. There was not
much water at the top of the falls. We continued on the red trail until we saw
the yellow trail. We knew the yellow trail looped around so we decided to take
it.
On the yellow trail, we took a couple of detours. One place
we went to was Rynex Creek. This creek did not have much water but it did have
a lot of rocks. We went back onto the yellow trail and continued until we saw a
green trail. We were curious so we took a look before heading back onto yellow.
Sometime after, we reached the bridge again and crossed it back towards the
parking lot. Instead of going to the parking lot, we took the blue trail which
is suppose to loop around towards the parking lot.
On the blue trail, we could just barely see the waterfalls.
There were many trees in the way and the blue trail is much higher up so we had
to look down. The second waterfall was much harder to see and I'm not exactly
sure where on the red trail it would be. I have a vague guess but that is when
we decide to go next time. We continued to loop around the blue trail and made
it back safely.
Due to the weather being cooler, we brought more water than necessary.
We barely went through a bottle.

I need to work on understanding the camera settings a bit
more. Sorry about the quality.
