Pokemon Rumble World Overview

Another free eshop Pokemon game by Nintendo. Pokemon Rumble World has the same concept as the other Pokemon Rumble games before it. Player plays as a Pokemon toy and runs around to defeat other Pokemon in hopes of being able to get the defeated Pokemon as a toy to also play with. However, in this version a Mii is selected to join the story. Streetpass and other features allow other Mii's to join the game. Usually, the Mii's need to be saved and protected. Of course a reward of a diamond or coin is given by the Mii's as well as a power up until the end of the level.

On the left is the balloon station. This is where the player goes to get more Pokemon to join. In the front to the castle is where the King is and where quests are done. The King can be changed to another Mii. On the right is the shop. The storekeeper can change per day to another Mii.

Starting the game, there is tons to do right away. Easy to level up, lots of Pokemon to catch, quests, etc. However, unless there's a good supply of jewels (cash), it can feel boring after a while since most of the Pokemon from the current balloons are caught already. Luckily, if all the Pokemon on one island is caught, the amount of P is increased and Pokemon power is increased.

One of the beginner balloons. The more stars on the island means the higher the difficulty. The rainbow in the back gives a higher chance of Fever which can add stars onto the islands. Increase the chance of getting a rarer Pokemon.
The wait for the gold balloon is long...

There is a cool down time for each balloon. Until Mii reaches level 5, the cool down time is short. Once over level 5, the cooldown depends on the balloon. The early balloons are 30 minutes cool down while the gold/silver balloons are 2 hours.

Visitor menu.

There is a visitor feature which allows streetpass, spotpass and call someone online to have people visit. Streetpass and spotpass are simple, just pass other players with the game and with the feature on to get them to visit. Call someone online only works once per day and it calls 3 Mii's to your kingdom. These Mii's show up in the next one to three islands that are played. Sometimes there are more than one Mii on the island which forces the second one to give you nothing to something good such as a diamond.  After escorting the Mii to the end without dying, the Mii gives a gold P coin (worth 10 P). The Mii's also show up in the Kingdom and when there is a red bubble with a exclamation point on them, there is a island you can go to by paying P or diamonds.
The trees in the background have power up jewels on them. Also there can be up to 4 Mii's shown on the road.

Similar to Pokemon Shuffle, diamonds can be brought for actual cash. Diamonds have more usage such as decreasing time needed to go play another level, pay Mii's to get to certain stages, unlock extras, frames, costumes, etc. Sadly, it is tough to get enough diamonds to be able to play the rest of the game without paying. I'm at a point where I'm mostly depending on Streetpass to get a diamond. So close to getting Diamond/Pearl balloon but I might end up getting Silver if this becomes too difficult. I also have quests but they tend to be difficult with my current Pokemon.

Watch out! The game is fun until the urge to sink money is starting to feel like a good idea.
